BYU students interested in conflict resolution are encouraged to become involved in the Peace and Conflict Resolution Society (PCRS), a student group focused on promoting and teaching peace-building and conflict resolution strategies in real-world situations. Through lecture, discussion, community service, and other events and activities, PCRS seeks to provide students with the tools and principles necessary for effective conflict transformation.
BYU law students are encouraged to join the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, a law student club focused on increasing student awareness, provide educational opportunities, and advancing the use of non-litigious means of resolving disputes through guest speakers, presentations, training sessions, and competitions. The ADR Society also keeps students informed of ADR opportunities in the local community and encourages students to take advantage of them.
