Who are the Arbitrators? | Center for Conflict Resolution

The CCR maintains a pool of Arbitrators specifically for adjudicating disputes between BYU students and other parties having disagreements with BYU students.

The arbitrators are persons from the local community who have been oriented on arbitration procedures. They do not necessarily have mechanical, technical, or legal expertise, but such experts may be involved in the hearing as witnesses.

The CCR may, at its discretion, assign a single Arbitrator to an arbitration hearing or a panel of three Arbitrators if they can be scheduled in a timely manner.
